As you can see - perseverance has paid off. Yet another picture of the flower show. This one appealed to me as it was one of the few that would go in an average house, most of the big ones look tortured and artificial, a flower arrangement should surely look natural in it's own beauty.

Weather and photos

The weather here is apalling, cold, cheerless and raining. In Kent, thunder is rolling around. Still having trouble with piccies with both Picassa and Hello but will persevere.

Weather

At last the April showers have arrived - in May. The gardens and birds are grateful but I'm not so sure about the humans. After such glorious sunshine it's a bit hard to go back to jumpers and rain coats.

Knitted puppets

I took a picture of these at the Bath Flower Show. They will be put in shoe boxes to send to children in Romania who would otherwise have no Christmas presents. The stall was a joint exhibition between the TG and WI. A lovely sunny day and an interesting show.

Thursday 3rd May. Still quite warm ad it promises to stay that way over the
May Bank holiday. A warm dry day should auger well for the voting in th local elections to-day.
